The Carpenter Foundation is a non-profit organization initiated by the Carpenter Health Network. Since 2003, the Carpenter Health Network has been active in addressing issues that affect health, benefit, and welfare of the community through the efforts of its non-profit outreach for members of the community with limited financial resources. Its mission has been to seek solutions to need and focus its efforts on programs that directly promote comfort and health in the community.
The Carpenter Foundation will now expand its efforts to partner with the multistate offices of the Carpenter Health Network in order to reach more communities where health care needs exist. This partnership of caring will reach families throughout Louisiana, South Alabama, Southeast Texas, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
This enhanced mission of the Carpenter Foundation will begin by focusing on offering the following programs in the expanded target communities.
- End of life care for patients lacking financial resources
- Grief support groups for adults, adolescents, and children offered
- Children’s Grief Camps
- Memory support groups
- Continuing Education Credit for Healthcare Professionals
- Health care delivery system research
The Carpenter Foundation is excited to begin its broadened partnership with the Carpenter Health Network and the expanded communities it will be serving.
