A Happier, More Successful Aging Process
Memory support groups are offered to area nursing homes and assisted living centers on a regular basis upon request. This form of therapeutic intervention is a group activity which recalls the life and experiences of the individual with the aim to help the participant improve socialization and enhance good mental health.
The practice of recalling past, enjoyable experiences has been found to assist people with problems in the following areas :
